Careful risk assessment
No matter how big or small the job it is carefully risk assessed as part of the production of the Risk Assessment Method Statement (RAMS) for that work-scope. Needless to say much use is made of signage, temporary barriers, traffic control and banks men wherever necessary. Rope Access Ireland staff are all fully IRATA qualified and we follow the IRATA International Code of Practice to the letter. Our H&S Manager ensures that Rope Access Ireland always operates within the national law and in observance of all current H&S regulations pertaining to our industry. All Rope Access Ireland’s equipment is carefully maintained by our gear store manager as well as being entered into our equipment logging system so that all our gear is auditable. At Rope Access Ireland we take the view that if a job can’t be done safely then it isn’t worth doing
